Maggie Ginsberg-Schutz is an award-winning magazine and newspaper features, profiles and travel writer working full-time in the industry since 2006.
In 2009, with tremendous help from the blogging community, she founded Violence UnSilenced, where abuse survivors speak out about domestic abuse, childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault and rape. Violence UnSilenced began non-profit incorporation in October 2011.
Maggie kept a blog at this address from early 2007 through 2011. It was because of the people she met through blogging (and the relationships she reveres to this day) that Violence UnSilenced exists at all.
