Let’s try this one more time! It’s Sam @ Temptation Designs!.
Sorry, I jumped the gun and put the design live while I was still working out bugs. I didn’t mean to freak y’all out!

Now, Maggie wants to know: What do you guys think of my new design?
Srsly. She asked me to ask you – which kinda feels a little weird cuz you know when someone asks if they look fat in this and you really don’t want them to tell you the truth, even though you kinda do?
Ya, kinda feels like that.

I LOVE it! Except I think you might want to two little thin black lines going down either side of the main column, to differentiate between sidebars and post content. Not that it’s confusing or anything, but just because I think it would guide the eyes a bit better.
Also, I thought it was ‘Okay, Fine, Dammit’ ? With commas? Am I crazy?
Anyway – Maggie, you look friggin’ gorgeous in that header and I love this design Sam – awesome job!

What’s that beautiful green and blue swirl background that only appears when the blog is grinding gears between post and comment mode? So pretty. Is it supposed to do that?
My less favorite response: I miss the irreverent hand gestures. I feel like the name of the blog and the photo don’t quite match, even though I like the photo and I think it matches who you are and how you write.

I love the new header, and the overall look of the site. There’s no navigation buttons back to your home page though, and I had to click around to figure out how to get back (at least none that I see, they could be there, and Im just an idiot – it’s been known to happen).
But as I said before, it looks great! Not that it would matter, you could write on the side of a bathroom stall in the seediest dive on the planet, and I’d read it.

Love the photo of you – the one in your header, not the 5th grade one. Though it is cute.
The design and colors are great. The only problem I see is that the text looks a bit squirrely, though that is far more true in Firefox. I opened the page in IE and the text looks much cleaner. I can live with it either way, as I’m sure other Firefox users feel the same.

my constructive criticism / comments:
*did there used to be a way to see more blog posting titles from the front/main page. I like to see all the names of stuff
* how do you make your response in the comments in color? I want that/need it/must have it – maggie? sam? is there some dummies way to do this?
* i feel like the items in the side are getting a little lost and that “one” (me) is allowed to scroll down too much. does that make sense. Like it’s more vertical text on one page then I’d like. I have the same problem with my own blog actually. and again that might just be me. Anywho, loveeee it, love you and your writing, and totally want to steal your designer. hugs.
